SHARE Spirituality Hope And Religious Expression.

SHARE is the name of the interactive worship and fellowship group in Peebles Old for everyone, but, especially those adults with learning disabilities. It was set up in 2015 and is run by Cathy Davidson, Janette Cameron, Wilma Smith, Howard Clarke and George Davidson. Before the COVID lockdown, it met monthly at 2 pm in the MacFarlane Hall.

At SHARE, all who take part make new friends and have the opportunity to explore the Christian faith and “share” the Good News about Jesus in a supportive and fun-filled environment.

The COVID lockdown has been a real challenge, as the members of the group have little or no access to the technology currently being used to communicate.  However messages have been exchanged by letter postcard and Advent calendar. Everyone is looking forward to resuming activities later this year.

Below are some photographs taken during our meetings
SHARE is supported in its work by the registered charity , a dynamic organisation that exists to raise awareness among the Christians in Scotland about the needs of people with learning disabilities.
